With 15 years experience, my approach to Pilates is rooted in the traditional and fundamental work of Joseph Pilates and layered with contemporary movement.
When blended together these two worlds work beautifully to create efficient, effective, creative, safe and progressive programs that motivate you to turn up and be consistent in your Pilates practice.
Pilates Found Me
My own Pilates journey started over 20 years ago. I was rehabilitating after an injury and my physiotherapist thought it would be a good idea to try a class as part of my recovery.
At the time, I wasn’t totally convinced, I wasn’t sure what to expect or if this would be right for me, but I was curious to give it a try. After that first class I remember feeling taller and I was pain free!
Over time I loved the precision, the movements, the challenge and the sense of achievement that came after each exercise and each class. I was hooked!
Today
Today, I am a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor with nearly 15 years experience. I teach group classes and guide clients through 1-1 personalised Pilates sessions.
I love the work and the reason behind every exercise. I love when clients share their goals and want to be consistent in their practice, and I love seeing the progress that follows. That’s what excites and motivates me!
Born in Ireland, Toronto is now home where I live with my husband Rowan and three incredible kids – Tom, Emily and Kate.
