At Reason and Power Pilates we use Pilates fundamentals first and foremost layering traditional and contemporary Pilates to create classes that are progressive and challenging. Working from the inside out each class aims to improve core control, stability, mobility and co-ordination to increase overall balance and strength. Each private session is tailored to the individual taking your specific goals in mind to achieve long term and sustainable results.

The Pilates Method consists of a series of exercises that integrates the entire body, combining dynamic movement and stability with breath. The benefits are endless:
Core Strength
We use breath to activate our ‘powerhouse’ and maintain deep abdominal engagement to support proper alignment.
Flexibility
Combining stretch with core control and precise movements we increase mobility and range of motion.
Stability
Controlled movements that target deep muscles of the hips, back and abdomen strengthen core and promote proper alignment which improves stability and balance.
Better Posture
By balancing and strengthening muscles in the posterior chain and increasing spinal mobility Pilates can improve posture and over all well-being.
